Palomar History Photo of the Week: March 8, 2010
For over seven decades the headquarters for Palomar Observatory were located on the campus of the California Institute of Technology in the Robinson Astrophysics Laboratory. Here is a photo, taken by Ferdinand Ellerman, of the old astrophysics lab taken in the fall of 1934:
Normally, when I use a photo of a car I blur the license plate, but in this case I don't think that it matters any more.
